2013 – Indoor: Took ninth in the 5,000 meters at The Summit League Championships (Feb. 25) with a personal best time of 15:15.81… Recorded the fastest time (8:41.94) in a 3,000 meters event by any Kangaroo during the season to finish 26th at the Iowa State Classic (Feb. 8)… Placed 10th (8:51.04) in the 3,000 meters at The Summit League Championships (Feb. 24)… Crossed the finish line at 4:37.69 to place 22nd in the mile at the Jayhawk Classic (Jan. 25)… Was part of a distance medley group that placed fifth (10:15.58) at the Iowa State Classic (Feb. 8). Outdoor: Named to the Commissioner’s List of Academic Excellence and to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll.
2012 -- Indoor: Placed eighth in the 3,000 meters with a personal best time of 8:37.31 in the Iowa State Classic (2/10)... Crossed the finish in the 3,000 meters at 8:46.58 to place 11th at The Summit League Championships (2/24)... Finished ninth (8:54.76) in the 3,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational (1/13)... Set a personal best time (4:25.04) in the mile event at the Jayhawk Classic (1/27). Outdoor: Recorded UMKC personal bests in the 1,500 Meter Run with a time of 4:03.78 at the Track-It Buster Invitational (4/27), in the 3,000 Meter Run with a time of 8:39.58 in the State Farm/ESU Relays (4/7) and in the 5,000 Meter Run with a time of 15:18.04 in the Kansas Relays (4/19)... finished eighth in the 1,500 Meter Run at the Track-It Buster Invitational (4/28)... finished fourth in the 3,000 Meter Run at the State Farm/ESU Relays (4/7)... Named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic All-League Team and to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
2011 -- Indoor: Clocked in at 4:36.62 in the mile at the ISU Classic (2/12) for a personal record... placed 15th at the Bob Timmons Challenge (12/4) in the 1,000 meters with a time of 2:47.37... ran 8:58.26 at the ISU Classic (2/12) in the 3,000 meters. Outdoor: Finished fifth (10:21.44) in the 3,000-meter steeplechase event at the WSU BCS Invitational (4/30/11)... Placed 17th (9:10.87) in the 3,000-meter run event at the Razorback Invitational (4/2)... Finished 25th (16:10.77) in the 5,000-meter run event at the K.T. Woodman Invitational (4/16).
High School -- Was a four-time all-district honoree in cross country... earned all-state honors three years in a row in cross country... cross country team finished second at state in 2007 and 2008... was all-district in the 3,200 meters as a junior... earned all-state and all-district honors in the 3,200 meters and as a member of the 4x800-meter relay team as a senior... holds the West Platte high school record in the 4x800-meter relay... ran a personal best 17:08 in the 5,000 meters and 10:05 in the 3,200 meters as a senior... was Valedictorian in 2010... was Student Government treasurer, a member of the National Honor Society and treasurer for the Science Club.
