Rivera, Jacober Tabbed to Summit League Academic All-League Teams
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Kansas City Cross Country saw Alanie Rivera and Connor Jacober earn spots on the 2025 Summit League Men's/Women's Cross Country Academic All-League Teams following fantastic seasons on the race course and in the classroom. Kansas City returns to academic all-league status for cross country after an absence last season. Kai White and Shavelle Shaw took home academic all-league status during track season last year but this is the Roos first bid to a conference cross country academic honor in multiple seasons.

Kansas City Places Seventh at Summit League Championships
ASHLAND, NEB. -- Kansas City completed the 2025 cross country season at the Summit League XC Championships Saturday morning with the men coming in seventh place totaling 217 points and the women finishing likewise at 199 points across all of the Roo runners in both the 8k and 6k races. Standing out in a big way was sophomore Mariah Belmont who delivered her best performance to date, finishing the treacherous 6k course with a time of 21:08.98 which was good for 14th place and gave her a new career-best time. Belmont was awarded with a bid to the All-Summit League Second Team for her stellar efforts at the conference meet.
