ASHLAND, NEB. -- Kansas City completed the 2025 cross country season at the Summit League XC Championships Saturday morning with the men coming in seventh place totaling 217 points and the women finishing likewise at 199 points across all of the Roo runners in both the 8k and 6k races. Mariah Belmont who delivered her best performance to date, finishing the treacherous 6k course with a time of 21:08.98 which was good for 14th place and gave her a new career-best time. Belmont was awarded with a bid to the All-Summit League Second Team for her stellar efforts at the conference meet.
