Summit League Selects Four Roos on Preseason Athletes to Watch List

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Kansas City Cross Country heads into the 2025 season with plenty of motivation as the Roos were picked to finish seventh in the Summit League Preseason Poll for the men and eighth for the women. The men's side garnered six points while the women earned seven points in the annual before-season ranking voted on by the Summit League's head coaches.

Kansas City Cross Country 2024 Season in Review

The 2024 season for Kansas City Cross Country was marked with plenty of progression and positive strides forward in year six of the Beanud Shirley era. The Roos competed in four meets across four different states, including Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota. The Roos finished with two top five team finishes on the season, coming in fourth place as a team in both the Bob Timmons Classic and the Platte River Rumble.
