Kansas City Can't Overcome Sluggish Start, Fall in Four Sets to Oral Roberts

Kansas City Volleyball (3-22, 2-10) couldn't overcome a slow start against Oral Roberts (3-22, 1-12), falling in four sets (16-25, 20-25, 25-17, 20-25) at the Swinney Center Thursday night. The Roos struggled to put together enough stretches of consistency, particularly early into the match. The Golden Eagles jumped on the Roos early, putting together a 12-5 run to open the first set and not looking back, taking the opening frame by a nine point margin.

The Roos battled hard but fell 3–1 to Oral Roberts at Swinney Center.
