Kansas City Pushes Missouri to the Wire in Tight Overtime Affair
COLUMBIA, Mo. – Kansas City Women's Basketball gave Missouri everything they could handle in a 71-67 overtime loss inside Mizzou Arena on Sunday afternoon. The Roos held a lead over the Tigers at the end of the first, second and third quarters but were unable to finish Missouri off in the fourth, getting out-scored by four points in the fourth quarter and the deciding overtime period. Despite the ultimate defeat, Kansas City continues to prove they can hang with the tougher out-of-conference opponents on the Roos schedule.
