KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball will bring experience into the back court next season, officially announcing the signing of Jaylen Smith this afternoon. The reigning SoCon Sixth Man of the Year, Smith was also an ASUN All-Freshman team honoree in 2023-24.

Kansas City Signs Bella Edwards

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City Women's Basketball has signed another transfer out of the portal with the addition of Bella Edwards to the backcourt for 2026-27. Edwards is a 5'11 guard from Amarillo, Texas and last played for Summit-foe Oral Roberts as a freshman last year.

Clunis Sets School Record in 100M at Rock Chalk Classic
LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Kansas City Track & Field built upwards momentum as the conference meet approaches at the Rock Chalk Classic this weekend, showcasing numerous top placements inside the top five of several different events. The Roos were also top three in the women's shot put, men's 100-meter dash, 400-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay, including an outright win in the 100m. Stephen Clunis became the king of Kansas City's 100-meter dash record books on Saturday, dashing a time of 10.28 seconds which is also the second fastest time in the Summit League.
