Roos Push Mavericks to Limit on Senior Day

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Kansas City Women's Tennis (3-14, 0-6 Summit) pushed Omaha (15-8, 5-0 Summit) to the limit in the Roos senior day match despite falling 4-3 on Sunday afternoon at the KC Racquet Club. The Roos honored three seniors including Maria Bylina, Amal Gati and Cathrine Chrobak for their tremendous contributions to KC tennis over the last four years.

Roos Claim Series Victory Over North Dakota

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Softball (14-22, 5-7 Summit) took a pair of wins over North Dakota (23-16, 1-5 Summit) this weekend to claim its second-straight series win in Summit League play. The Roos gritted out a 5-3 win to open the series on Friday evening before falling in a run rule decision on Saturday. The series-deciding game was played through the rain, with Kansas City earning the 3-0 victory in a weather-shortened decision.
