LAWRENCE, Kan. -- Kansas City Track & Field built upwards momentum as the conference meet approaches at the Rock Chalk Classic this weekend, showcasing numerous top placements inside the top five of several different events. The Roos were also top three in the women's shot put, men's 100-meter dash, 400-meter hurdles and the 4x400-meter relay, including an outright win in the 100m.
Stephen Clunis became the king of Kansas City's 100-meter dash record books on Saturday, dashing a time of 10.28 seconds which is also the second fastest time in the Summit League.
