MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Kansas City Softball (4-4) picked up a pair of wins in Memphis this weekend, going 2-1 with victories over Evansville and Ball State. The Roos' final two games of the weekend were not played due to inclement weather.

BROOKINGS, S.D. โ€“ Kansas City Women's Basketball (7-19, 4-9) ran into a buzz saw in Brookings, falling 93-40 to South Dakota State (20-6, 10-2) on Valentine's Day. Emani Bennett led Kansas City in scoring with 14 points on 6-11 shooting from the field. The Roos shot 30.2% from the floor for the game while the Jackrabbits went 59.6% overall and 60% from three.ย
