KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Men's Basketball has added another transfer to its 2026 signing class, officially announcing the signing of Assane Diop today. Diop has prior experience with the Kansas City staff, spending time with Associate Head Coach Mike Rohn and Assistant Coach Will Turgeon at Colorado before spending last season at San Diego.

Women's Basketball Tabs Park Shogren for Assistant Coaching Position

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Basketball and Head Coach Candi Whitaker have officially announced the hiring of Park Shogren as Assistant Coach. Shogren will bring head coaching experience and time spent in the Summit League to the Roos' sidelines in 2026-27.

Lanham Punches Ticket to Eugene at NCAA West Preliminary

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- For the second straight season, Kansas City's Tory Lanham has qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Lanham along with Naomi Eyanagho, Stephen Clunis, Stephen Brown and Amari Eugene competed at the NCAA West Preliminary this past week, with the junior sprinter making a name for himself at the regional meet once again.
