Donation Request Form
Thank you for your interest in a donation from Kansas City Athletics for your charitable event.
The following information must be provided in order to determine the permissibility of fulfilling each request. Completion of this form does not guarantee approval of the request. Additional event details may be needed to support your request.
Please understand that as an NCAA Division 1 athletics program we are limited by NCAA Bylaw 13.5, which prohibits all University staff members from participating in the following: :
• Donating memorabilia (e.g., jerseys, hats, T-shirts, autographed footballs or basketballs) to any organization/event/activity that involves/benefits prospect-aged individuals (9th12th grade and junior college students).
• Participating in any event in which a donation will be provided to a high school, prep school or two-year college. This includes any elementary and middle schools that are financially tied and/or associated with a high school.
• Providing any financial contributions to a high school athletics program by participating in a fundraising event.
Additionally, we ask that requests abide by the following:
- All donation requests must be submitted online.
- All organizations receiving donations from UMKC Athletics must be registered as a 501c(3) charity or "not-for-profit" entity.
- All requests need to be submitted 4-6 weeks ahead of event launch date.
- Requests for monetary and operating expenses will not be honored.
- Organizations are subject to receive limited donations per year.
