2012 -- Named to the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence. Outdoor: Ranked No. 337 in the NCAA in the 110 Meter High Hurdles with a time of 14.97 and No. 435 in the 400 Meter Hurdles with a UMKC personal best time of 55.99, both at the State Farm/ESU Relays (4/7)... recorded UMKC personal best in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 23.05 at the K.T. Woodman Classic (4/13)... finished fifth at the State Farm/ESU Relays (4/7) and eighth at the Missouri Relays (3/24) in the 400 Meter Hurdles... won the 110 Meter Hurdles at the Tulsa Duels (3/17), while placing third at the Missouri Relays (3/24)... finished second at the Missouri Relays (3/24) as part of the 4x100 Meter Relay team... placed sixth at the Tulsa Duels (3/17) as part of 4x400 Meter Relay team.
2011 -- Indoor... Led the Kangaroos in the 60-meter hurdles, 300-meter run and long jump... ran a personal best 8.38 in the 60-meter hurdles at the ISU Open (1/22) and ISU Classic (2/12)... finished third in the 60-meter hurdles at the KSU Invitational (1/15)... top-mark in the long jump was 21-06.25 (6.56m) at the ISU Classic (2/12). Outdoor: Was the UMKC male athlete to compete in the 110-meter hurdle and 400-meter hurdle events... Finished fifth (14.63) in the 110-meter hurdles event at the Summit League Championships (5/14)... set new personal bests in 110-meter hurdle, 400-meter hurdle, 100-meter dash, and 200-meter dash events.
2010 -- Indoor... Ran a personal best in the 60-meter hurdles at The Summit League Championship (3/1), taking seventh with a time of 8.42... clocked in at 8.44 for a 10th place finish at the ISU Open (1/23) in the 60-meter hurdles... clocked in at 7.20 in the 60 meters for a personal best at the League Championship (2/28)... set a personal record in the 200 meters at the ISU Classic (2/12), with a time of 23.01... took fifth at the Bill Easton Classic (1/8) in the 200 meters with a time of 23.45... top-time in the 300 meters was 37.23 ran at the ISU Holiday Preview (12/11)... competed in the long jump at The Summit League Championship (2/28), recorded the personal best mark of 20-02.25 (6.15m)... 2009 -- Indoor... competed in four meets... ran a personal best in the 60-meter dash at the Iowa State Open (1/24), clocking in at 7.33... ran the 200 meters in 23.55 at the Iowa State Classic (2/13) for a personal record... Outdoor... took first in the 110-meter hurdles at the Emporia State Relays (4/4) with a time of 15.12... posted a personal best time of 15.08 at The Summit League Outdoor Championships in the 100-meter hurdles and just missed qualifying for the finals... top-time of 57.42 was also posted at the League Championships... a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that took fourth at the Nebraska Invitational (4/11)... ran the first leg of the 4x400-meter relay squad that took fifth at The Summit League Outdoor Championships (3:22.75).
High School -- School record holder in the boys 100-meter hurdles (13.64), the long jump (6.65m) and the boys 400-meter hurdles (56.8)... earned most outstanding honors in biology and physics in May 2008.
Personal -- Born on Feb. 20, 1990... son of Lynette Hepburn and Kermit Taylor... has two siblings, Kenton and Mona Lisa Taylor... brother Kenton is member of the track and field squad at Missouri Baptist... was a bronze medalist in the 100-meter hurdles in April 2006 at the CARIFTA Games and also earned a bronze medal in the event in June 2006 at the Junior CAC... was a member of the national team in the 110-meter hurdles at the World Juniors... majoring in biology.
