High School -- Was a two-time all-state and all-conference honoree... served as team captain as a senior... recorded a mark of 17-03.50 in the long jump as a junior... placed ninth in the long jump at the state meet in Class 3A in 2009... was a member of the 4x200-meter relay team that took second at state in 2008, 2009 and 2010... team were two-time conference champions in 2008 and 2009, and runner-up in 2010... earned four varsity letters in basketball and one in cheerleading... on the honor roll all four years... also a member of the Sisterhood, Club 44 and the NAACP Youth Chapter.
