2010 -- Indoor... led the Kangaroos in the weight throw... posted the personal best mark of 49-07.75 (15.13m) at the ISU Classic (2/12) in the weight throw... recorded the fourth farthest mark in school history in the weight throw at the ISU Classic placed third at the Bob Timmons Challenge (12/5) in the weight throw... recorded a mark of 35-11.25 (10.95m) in the shot put for a personal record at The Summit League Championship (3/1)... finished with two top-10 finishes in the shot put at the Bill Easton Classic (1/8) and the KSU Invitational (1/16)... Outdoor... led the `Roos in the discus throw... placed third with a personal record of 139-04.00 (42.46m) in the discus at the Emporia State Relays (4/3)... had three top-10 finishes in the discus throw during the season... placed eighth at The Summit League Championships (5/15) in the discus... finished fourth at the Emporia State Relays (4/3) in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 140-06.00 (42.82m)... recorded three top-10 finishes in the hammer throw... threw 34-05.50 (10.50m) in the shot put at the Mule Relays (4/16) for a personal best.
High School -- State champion in the discus as a senior, earned all-metro academic and all-state honors at Bellevue East... was team’s most valuable player and served as captain as a junior and senior... personal best in the discus was 136-0 and personal best in the shot put was 39-10... holds the second farthest throw in the discus... coached by Jill Bakewell and Kenton Kemeny... was junior varsity for the volleyball and softball teams... a letterwinner for the basketball team... was the first girl to play football for the high school team and was a letterwinner... a member of the honor roll and National Honor Society all four years... was a Presidential Excellence Award recipient as a senior... served as team captain for the powerlifting team... was involved in FCA, Student Council, Key Club, Spanish Club and SADD.
Personal -- Born on Oct. 2, 1991, in Grand Island, Neb... daughter of Robert and Joy Jensen... has four siblings, Molly, Keri, Laura and Brett... a member of the Bellevue Breeze as a sophomore and junior and coached by Dion Trent... competed for the Omaha Races as a senior, placed third in the nation in the discus... biology (pre-med) major.
