Marquette University -- Competed as unattached during the 2007-08 season as a redshirt... top time in the 5K was 19:31... was a Big East Academic All-Star.
High School -- As a junior, served as team captain, was the 1,600 meter conference champion and all-district in the event... clocked in at 5:25 in the 1,600-meter run and 2:24 in the 800-meter run... track and field team was conference champions in 2007... ran for head coach Jamin Swift... holds the school record in the 4x400-meter relay... graduated from high school as a junior and served as the 2007 valedictorian... earned two academic letters... a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Advisory Council.
