High School -- Earned third team all-Dade County in the 400 meters and was district champion in the 200 and 400-meter dash his senior year... as a junior, was first team all-Dade County and state champion in the 4x400-meter relay... also second-team all-Dade County and district champion in the 400-meter dash... earned all-Dade County honorable mention honors in the 400 meters and Third-Team all-Dade County in the 4x400-meter relays as a sophomore... lifetime-best in the 400 meters was 48.03, set his junior season and 21.8 in the 200 meters, set his senior year... a member of the 4x400-meter relay team that set the school record (3:14.55)... coached by John Smith III.
