Kansas City Gears Up to Host Kangaroo Klassic, Welcoming Lindenwood, Montana, and Bradley

Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City enters the fourth weekend of the season with a 2-6 record after splitting matches against Mizzou and UT Martin, as they prepare to host their annual Kangaroo Klassic.
- Kaia Dunford not only leads the Roos' offense with 17 kills and a .350 hitting percentage but also ranks seventh in the nation in attacks per set at 12.71. Her ability to deliver when it matters, contributing 17.5 total points, highlights her consistency and dominance at the net, making her a top offensive performer.
- Sydney Henry continues to orchestrate the offense, recording 50 assists in the win over UT Martin and adding four blocks. She also contributed 17 assists and five kills in the match against Mizzou.
- Leah Green anchored the defense with 21 digs in the victory over UT Martin, providing stability in the back row. Kansas City's defense also featured strong blocking against Mizzou, with Ledisi Kpea contributing three kills and a block.
- Kansas City's overall offensive efficiency showed improvement in the win over UT Martin, hitting .313 as a team, with Sila Ozyurek contributing 13 kills and a .591 hitting percentage, helping to secure the team's second victory of the season.
Lindenwood  Notes
- Kansas City and Lindenwood will meet for the first time in school history. Lindenwood comes into the match with a 4-5 record, highlighted by a recent five-set victory over Southern Illinois, where freshman Autumn Bax recorded a career-high 18 kills.
- Autumn Bax, named OVC Freshman of the Week, continues to shine for the Lions, posting 32 kills last week, including seven against SEC opponent Missouri.
- Senior Nyah Wilson leads the Lions with 35 kills from last week's matches, showcasing her offensive efficiency with a .364 hitting percentage in their most recent win.
- The Lions' defense is anchored by libero Jessie Seidel, who recorded 22 digs in their most recent match, while setters Allie Otten and Abby VanBuskirk combine for a steady offensive rhythm with 34 assists.
Montana Notes
- Kansas City has only faced Montana once in school history and will look to even the score in their upcoming matchup at the Kangaroo Klassic.
- Montana has been a dominant force defensively, ranking 13th in the NCAA in blocks per set with 2.93. Middle blockers Brenley Hansen and Sierra Dennison have led the charge, with Hansen ranking fourth in the nation with 1.67 blocks per set and Dennison adding 1.26 blocks per set.
- Senior outside hitter Paige Clark recently recorded her 1,000th career kill, Clark has averaged 3.22 kills per set throughout her career and has been instrumental in the team's offensive success this season.
Bradley Notes
- Kansas City and Bradley meet for the seventh time in school history, with Kansas City looking to overturn a two-match winning streak held by Bradley.
- Senior Silan Demirkol has been a key performer for Bradley, earning All-Tournament honors at the Bradley Classic. She leads the team with 2.64 kills per set and adds 2.57 digs per set. Demirkol posted 15 kills against South Dakota State and 14 against Eastern Illinois.
- Junior Anna Kiss has been another standout for the Braves, leading the team with 19 kills and a .484 hitting percentage in their last match against Eastern Illinois. She averages 2.4 kills per set and has been a consistent offensive force for Bradley.
