Kaminski Takes Home Summit League Defensive Peak Performer Of The Week

Standout weekend in the back row earns Kansas City libero conference recognition
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - On Tuesday afternoon the Summit League announced that Kansas City Volleyball's Chloe Kaminski is the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.Â
Kaminski had a fantastic showing at the Stachesville Challenge including 61 digs and 5.56 digs per set across three games, currently putting her top five in the NCAA for digs per set.Â
Kaminski was the team's defensive anchor throughout the weekend with a 19 dig performance in their sweep over Jackson State, followed up by stellar 30 dig performance in their 3-2 win over University of Tennessee Martin, and lastly a 12 dig performance in their loss against Austin Peay.Â
The Roos are back in action this weekend as they travel to Oxford, Ohio to take on the Miami/Best Western Invitational where they will take on Purdue Fort Wayne, Miami (OH) on Sep. 4 and Evansville on Sep. 5. Watch the Roos on ESPN+ when they take on Miami (OH) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. CT.
