10/30/2024 9:26:00 PM | Men's Soccer
Kansas City had late opportunities after falling behind, but Denver ultimately prevailed
DENVER - Kansas City Men's Soccer (9-4-3, 4-2-1 Summit) gave No. 9 Denver (10-2-4, 5-1-0 Summit) a battle until the final moments at the Denver Soccer Stadium this evening but were barely outlasted, 2-1. Denver took a two-goal lead early in the second half until a goal from Hector Taboada with 20 minutes remaining gave the Roos life. Kansas City continued to attack, earning three corners in the game's final minute, but could not find the equalizing goal.
