- Kansas City Men's Soccer heads to Denver for its final road game of the 2024 regular season, kicking off on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT.
- The Roos have had one of the most successful seasons on the road in program history to this point. KC's record away from home is 6-1-2, tying a program record for most road victories. In 2003, Kansas City went 6-2-2 in road contests.
- Elie Kisoka continues to move his way up the Kansas City program record book. The junior has scored 10 goals and 24 points overall, both tied for seventh in program history.
- Kisoka has also had a knack for scoring game-winning goals, as he did on Saturday against Omaha. His five game-winners on the season ranks first in the NCAA, tied with six other players.
- Julien Le Bourdoulous scored his first goal of the year on a free kick against the Mavericks. He is also KC's leader in assists with five. Combined with his six assists last season, he is tied for fifth in program history with 11 career assists.
- With Le Bourdoulous and Galluccio each scoring their first goals of the season last weekend, Kansas City now has 13 different goal scorers on the year. No other team in the Summit League has more than 11 goal scorers this year.
- KC maintains its spot among the top scoring teams in the nation. The Roos average 2.20 goals per game, a mark that leads the Summit and ranks 13th in the NCAA.
Denver NotesÂ
- Denver enters Wednesday's match with a 9-2-4 record, including two-straight victories.
- The Pioneers are one point behind KC in the Summit League standings, but have played one fewer game in conference play.
- Sam Bassett has logged seven goals and nine assists on the year, ranking 17th in the nation in total points.
- Kansas City pulled out a 1-0 victory over Denver on Oct. 12 on a game-winner by Kisoka. It marked the Roos' first win at home against the Pios in eight attempts.
- The Pios hold a 3-2-1 series advantage over the Roos in games played at Denver.
