KANSAS CITY, MO- Kansas City Men's Basketball (2-0) took down Saint Mary (3-3) in convincing fashion tonight, 95-42. The Roos dominated this one from the early going thanks to an explosive first half of shooting that saw them shoot 64.7% from the field and knock down eight threes.
Jamar Brown continued his impressive offensive play in his second game with the Roos, tallying 18 points on 70% shooting. He was far from the only Roo who had a big night, as Anderson Kopp, Melvyn Ebonkoli, and Allen Mukeba all put up double-digit scoring nights.
Kansas City would also turn in another dominate night on the defensive side of the ball, forcing 26 turnovers and creating 14 steals. Artese Stapleton was responsible for five of those steals, as he ups his season total to seven through the first two games.
