Women's Soccer Looks for League Results on the Road

Kansas City will take on South Dakota tonight at 4 p.m. before a Sunday meeting with SDSU
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Soccer will look to build on its second draw of conference play, coming off a 1-1 decision against North Dakota last weekend. The Roos travel to South Dakota for meetings with the Coyotes and Jackrabbits.

- Madison Page and Lily Stedman remain the only Roos to have scored on the year, with each notching four goals. That mark puts them in a tie for seventh in the league standings.
- In program history, the fewest number of goal scorers in a single season stands at five. That mark was set in the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
- Kansas City remains near the top of the national rankings in shot accuracy. The Roos place 56.7% of their shot attempts on frame, the fifth-best rate in Division One.
- Mackenzie Caldwell has started five of the past six matches in net for Kansas City, averaging 5.2 saves per game in that span. Her season average of 5.0 saves per game is the second-best mark in the Summit League and ranks 50th in the nation.
- Caijah Anderson and Lily Hollis lead KC with two assists each. Both of Anderson's were to Stedman, both of Hollis's were to Page.
South Dakota Notes
- South Dakota enters the match with a 3-6-5 record, but have logged two-straight wins over Western Illinois and St. Thomas.
- When these teams met last season, the Coyotes emerged with a 1-0 victory, out-shooting the Roos 17-5.
- South Dakota ranks third in the league in shots on goal per game, tallying an average of 5.36.
- Joana Zanin has scored four goals on the season to lead USD.Â
South Dakota State Notes
- The Jackrabbits have not been beaten so far this year, and hold a 3-0-2 record in conference play.
- SDSU defeated KC 1-0 last season, despite the Roos taking two more shots than the Jackrabbits.
- South Dakota State is one of just three teams that has yet to be beaten this season, joining UCLA and Portland.
- Two-time Summit First Teamer Maya Hansen leads SDSU with eight goals.
