The Roos open the season with a pair of exhibition games, traveling to Arkansas on Aug. 5 before hosting Butler CC on Aug. 9.
The regular season opens on the road on Aug. 16 as the Roos will travel to Iowa State for a meeting with the Cyclones. It will mark the third time in program history that the Roos have taken on ISU, most recently defeating the Cyclones in a decisive 3-1 decision on Sep. 14, 2018.
Kansas City's home opener will come at 7 p.m. on Aug. 21 in the form of a battle with cross-town rival Rockhurst. The rivalry was renewed last season after a 14-year hiatus as KC put a 7-0 beat down on the Hawks thanks to a hat trick from Delfina Zolesio.
KC remains at home on Aug. 23 to take on UC Riverside for the first-ever meeting between the two squads. It will mark a reunion between Head Coach Jess Smith and the Highlanders' Head Coach Mike Dibbini. Smith was an assistant coach under Dibbini at Kansas State from 2016-17.
The Roos hit the road for a pair of big contests, taking on Creighton on Aug. 27 before a trip to the University of Kansas on Sep. 3. It will be the third-straight year that the Roos have taken on the Bluejays. Smith, a former Big 12 champion with the Jayhawks, will take on her alma mater for the third time in her head coaching tenure.
On Sep. 10, Kansas City will take on Missouri State for the fifth time in the past six years. Despite a 4-8-3 record against the Bears all-time, the Roos have found success against MSUÂ under Smith's guidance, going 2-1-1.
KC will play the final road game of the non-conference slate on Sep. 13, traveling to Memphis. The Tigers are coming off one of the best seasons in program history, going 17-1-3 in 2025 with a pair of ranked wins, an American Athletic Conference title and an NCAA Tournament Second Round Appearance.
Non-conference play will come to a close against Little Rock on Sep. 19, the second-ever meeting between the Roos and the Trojans and the first since 2013.
The Roos open Summit League play against Oral Roberts on Sep. 24 before a season-long four-game road trip that spans from Sep. 27 through Oct. 11. Throughout that stretch, KCÂ will take on St. Thomas, Omaha, South Dakota and South Dakota State.
Four of Kansas City's last five regular season games will be played at home, first against North Dakota on Oct. 15, then North Dakota State on Oct. 18. The home stretch sandwiches a game at Oral Roberts on Oct. 24, finishing the schedule with games against St. Thomas on Oct. 29 and Omaha on Nov. 1.
The Summit League Championships will take place from Nov. 6-15 at host sites. The Roos will attempt to lay claim to the program's first-ever postseason conference championship and qualify to the NCAA Tournament.
Season tickets are available now on the KC Roos website with plans beginning at $50. Other season ticket options include a discounted four-pack and the Roos' premium upgrade with access to the Cupini's Corner Kick Club Presented by Boulevard Breweing, complete with food at drinks. Single game tickets will be available for purchase on July 13.
