Ashley Koch and Olivia Platt Named to Summit League All-Academic Team

The duo earned their first career academic awards
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Kansas City Women's Soccer had a pair of players on the Summit League's Academic All-League list, as was announced on Wednesday. Ashley Koch and Olivia Platt each earned a spot on the team, making up two of the league's 15 total representatives.
Koch owns a 3.98 GPA while studying accounting in her junior year and was named Honorable Mention All-League for her performance on the field this season. The Prairie Village, Kan. native finished the year with six goals and seven assists, ranking top-10 in the Summit in both categories.
Platt has a 3.89 GPA while pursuing her Health Sciences degree and nabbed First Team All-League honors in October. The redshirt junior ranked second in the league in goals and points scored, and was the league-leader in goals throughout Summit League play.
