COACH RYAN PORE, QUOTED
"Dayton did a good job disrupting our passing with their athleticism and intensity. I thought we settled in and created some great chances on the counter attack. We scored a deserved goal on a corner and were unfortunate to concede so late. I'm very proud of the guys and their fight tonight. Now we get some rest and we look forward to starting conference play."
UP NEXT
The Roos will travel to Tulsa, Okla. to open up Summit League play at Oral Roberts next Saturday at 7 p.m. They will then host their first regular season game of the year at Durwood Soccer Stadium, bringing Saint Louis in for a match on Sep. 28.
