Why Kansas City?: "I had a really good visit with Coach Shaw and our philosophy on softball matched up well and it just felt right. I believe in the mission that the Urban Youth Academy is doing to support kids and wanted to be a part of the change that they are bringing. Along with the positive atmosphere surrounding the campus and beautiful buildings made it a super easy choice. Also, my club team won 3 Championships Rings in Kansas City and wanted to help bring that positive energy to Kansas City Softball."
