High School -- Franklin played at Northeast High School in Oakland Park, Fla. for head coach Gerald Gillan, where he helped the Hurricanes to a 18-6 record as a senior... He posted 12.9 points per game, while grabbing 7.3 rebounds and dishing out 3.6 assists per game that season... He earned all-district honors three years, and was the team captain as a senior... Averaged 10.4 ponts and 4.2 boards per contest as a junior with a 20-6 mark, helped the team to 17-6 record as a sophomore, and was the first freshman player to start in school history... He led Northeast to a district title in one of the state's most competitive districts as a sophomore, and second place finishes as both a junior and senior... He also developed his skills on one of the nation's most renowned AAU programs for three years, Florida's Team Breakdown, coached by Kenny Gillan.
