2009 -- Indoor... took 13th at The Summit League Indoor Championships (2/28) in the 800-meter run with a personal best time of 1:59.58... ran for a sixth place finish in the 600 yards at 1:19.39 at the Wildcat Invitational (1/31)... finished 10th at the KSU Invitational with a time of 1:20.58 in the 600-yard run... Outdoor... specialized in the 800-meter run... ran a personal best at The Summit League Outdoor Championships (5/15) in the 800 meters, clocked in at 1:58.97... posted the time of 1:59.56 at the Nebraska Invitational (4/11)... took 10th at the Ward Haylett Invite in the event.
High School -- A four time letter winner in track and field for head coach Toni Fowler... placed seventh in the 800 meters at the State Tournament in 2008... won conference for Class B in the 800-meter run, 1600-meter run and 4x800-meter relay, took second in the 4x400-meter relay... also was a state qualifier in the mile and 4x800-meter relay in 2008... earned three cross country letters... finished as the conference runner-up and finished fifth at Districts... qualified for state and served as the team captain of the squad... earned Academic all-State honors in cross country in 2006... also was a member of the wrestling and football teams.
Personal -- Born on Nov. 5, 1989, in Omaha, Neb... son of Tim and Susan Overmiller... father was a quarterback at Kansas State and mother was a member of the dance team... has three brothers, Matt, Blake and Nathan... majoring in biology.
