High School?Earned all-state honors in the 1600 and 3200 meters as a freshman, all-state in the 1,600 meters as a junior and was all-state in cross country his senior year... finished the 1,600-meter run in 4:24 his junior year for a lifetime best... sat out sophomore season due to injury... team were conference champions in 2007 and 2008... coached by Andy Youngworth... in addition to lettering in track and field, also lettered in football (2 years), basketball (3 years) and cross county (1 year)... was a member of the honor roll all four years.
