Riley Bebb went six innings and gave up just one earned run in the loss

KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Softball (4-32, 1-11 Summit) duked it out with Omaha (29-9, 9-3 Summit) this afternoon at the Urban Youth Academy, fighting in a 3-1 loss. Riley Bebb shined from the pitcher's circle, going six innings and giving up just one earned run. In total, Bebb tossed 13 innings against the league's leaders this weekend, totaling just one earned run on 51 batters faced. Katie Noble went 2-of-3 from the plate for the Roos' only multi-hit performance, and set up the KC's lone run of the day on a Leilani Bustamante double.

Top 1 / 0-0 | Bebb went 1-2-3 to begin the game, sandwiching a ground out in between a pair of fly outs to start the game.
Bottom 3 / 0-2 | Elleana Navarro walked and Taylor Kvale singled with no outs to give the Roos their first scoring opportunity of the day, but nothing could be made of the situation.
Top 4 / 0-2 | Kansas City stomped out a promising start to the fourth inning for UNO as a ball was driven to the fence in left field, but Kvale rifled a throw to Bustamante, who made the tag at second base. Bebb got a fly out and a line out to end the inning.
Bottom 6 / 1-3 | Noble's second hit of the game set up a pinch running situation for Payton Schnoor, who used a Bustamante double to right center to come around and score.
