Elauni Bennett led Kansas City with 15 points and eight rebounds
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Women's Basketball (9-16, 5-5 Summit) kept it close with Omaha (10-14, 2-9 Summit) through the first three quarters this afternoon, but faltered in the final frame of a 65-56 loss. It was an even scoring effort across the board for the Roos, led by Elauni Bennett's 15 points and eight rebounds. Kelby Bannerman scored 12, nine of which came in the first quarter, and Emani Bennett finished with 10 points of her own.
