CJ Evans led the Roos with 14 points
CHENEY, Wash. - Kansas City Men's Basketball fell in a 90-66 decision at Eastern Washington to wrap up the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. The Roos were led by CJ Evans, who finished with 14 points, three rebounds and two assists.
Kansas City held with the Eagles in the early going, but a 20-3 run late in the first half put the game out of reach. Chris Dockery broke the scoring drought with six-straight points, finishing the game with eight points and five rebounds on 3-of-5 shooting.
Jerome Palm scored nine early, finishing with 10 points and seven rebounds. Jayson Petty pitched in with 12 points and seven rebounds of his own. It marked the second time in the last three games that Evans, Palm and Petty all reached double-digits for the Roos.
The Roos are back in action on Wednesday, hosting Weber State in the closing game of a rare home-and-home with an out-of-conference opponent.
