Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City Men's Basketball returns home for the second game against Weber State this season, a rare two-game series with an out-of-conference opponent. The last time that the Roos played the same non-conference opponent twice in the same season was in the 2020-21 season, when KC played a same-day doubleheader against Kansas Christian on Dec. 19.
- CJ Evans, Jayson Petty and Jerome Palm each scored in double digits in Kansas City's most recent game against Eastern Washington, the second time in the past three games that all three scored 10-plus points. The trio are the top three on the team in double-digit scoring games.
- Palm has seen his offensive production increase as of late, reaching double-figures in three-straight games after just one 10-point game in the Roos' first six contests. He has also taken the team lead in rebounding average, pulling down 5.7 boards per contest.
- Jamaria Clark played 17 minutes against the Eagles after logging a season-high 22 minutes against Idaho State last Wednesday. He logged career-highs in assists, blocks and steals in the game against Eastern Washington.
- Petty played 31 minutes against the Eagles, extending his streak of 30-plus minutes played to four-straight games. Since the start of last season, he has logged at least 30 minutes in 24 out of 42 games played.
Weber State Notes
- Weber State stands at 4-5 on the season, winning three of its last five contests. The Wildcats went 1-1 in the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge, defeating Oral Roberts and falling to St. Thomas.
- Jace Whiting is the Wildcats' offensive leader, averaging 14.3 points per game. He has reached double digits in 8-of-9 games and is shooting 54.8% from the floor.
- As a team, Weber State averages 43.11 rebounds per game, ranking first in the Big Sky and 15th in the NCAA.
- The teams' meeting earlier this season was the first in the all-time series, with the Wildcats winning, 82-61.
- Petty and Palm scored 13 each to lead the Roos and five Wildcat players reached double digits.
