The Roos drop their third-straight one-possession decision
DENVER - Kansas City Men's Basketball (10-13, 2-6 Summit) dropped a decision in heart-breaking fashion for the third-straight game, this one coming at the hands of  Denver (8-15, 2-6 Summit), 69-68. The Roos seemed to be in control as the game clock wound down, but a late second-chance, and-one bucket gave the Pioneers a path to victory.
Jamar Brown led Kansas City's scoring efforts, finishing with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Jayson Petty followed him with 11 points and a pair of steals as the only other Roo to reach double-digits.

2H - 1:19 / 67-63 | Petty jumped out in the passing lane and came up with a steal, going the other way for an easy bucket to put KC ahead by four. Denver would mount an improbable comeback and finish the game on a 6-1 run for the win.
STATS TO NOTE

Ten different players made a field goal for the Roos, the most since KC's Nov. 18 win over Calvary.
Gob played 11 minutes and scored six points on the evening, both his most since the start of Summit League play.
The Roos finished the night 6-of-16 from three-point range, the team's first time shooting less than 20 triples in a game this season.
