Emani Bennett led KC in points for the fifth consecutive game
LINCOLN, Neb. — Kansas City Women's Basketball (2-5) showed its resilience against No. 25, Nebraska (6-1). The Roos faced some struggles early but showed out in the third quarter out-rebounding Nebraska and scoring just one shy of the Huskers' 15 points. The Roos fell to the Huskers, 38-84, highlighted by Emani Bennett's sixth double-digit performance and a two-block day from Tamia Ugass.

- Freshman Febres knocked down the first field goal of her collegiate career in the fourth quarter. In her ten minutes of action tonight, Febres went one-for-two from the field and brought down a rebound.
- Ugass earned both of Kansas City's blocks, with one in the third quarter and another in the fourth. Two blocks mark a season-high for Ugass and is just one shy of her career-high that she earned on Feb. 9, 2023, against Western Illinois.
