
Women's Basketball Season Tickets Available Now, Full Schedule Released

The Roos will host 14 games this year, split between the Swinney Center and Municipal Auditorium
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Kansas City Women's Basketball has officially released its non-conference schedule and season tickets today, completing the schedule with 14 games played between the Swinney Center and Municipal Auditorium. Season tickets begin at just $60 with courtside seats for just $125 and are currently available on the KC Roos Website.Â
Fans can get a first look at the Roos in doubleheader exhibition action on Oct. 24, as the women's basketball squad takes on Newman at Municipal Auditorium. This game will follow directly after a men's basketball exhibition contest against Montana State.
The regular season begins in the Swinney Center on Nov. 2 as the Roos host Baker, followed by another doubleheader special on Nov. 6. Kansas City will host Wichita State at Municipal, a marquee matchup prior to the men's first home game of the regular season.
KC's first road game will see the Roos take on Arkansas on Nov. 9, the second-straight season that the Roos will take on the Razorbacks in Fayetteville.
The Roos return to Swinney on Nov. 13, hosting SEMO in a battle of in-state rivals. This will mark the first time in over 10 years that the Roos and Redhawks will go head-to-head.
Kansas City's plays four games away from home beginning on Nov. 16 with a game against New Mexico State, followed by a trip to UTEP on Nov. 18.Â
The Roos will take on Missouri State on Nov. 22, a game that will be played in the T-Mobile Center as part of the 28.5 Hoops Women's Invitational. KC will play at a neutral site just a few miles away from the UMKC campus.
The four-game road trip ends on Nov. 25 as Kansas City travels to take on Nebraska.
KC returns to the Swinney Center on Nov. 29, hosting Park to wrap up the month of November.
Four more road contests await the Roos to begin December, traveling to Austin Peay on Dec. 3, Kansas on Dec. 6, Air Force on Dec. 8 and Minnesota on Dec. 12.
The non-conference schedule concludes with three-straight home games. The Roos will take on Denver on Dec. 17 and Lindenwood on Dec. 22 with both games being played in the Swinney Center.Â
The final game of non-con will be played in Municipal Auditorium as Kansas City hosts Saint Mary's before beginning its quest for a Summit League title.
