Kansas City Notes
Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City continues its Summit League opening road trip with a visit to Omaha on Saturday. A win would give Kansas City a 2-0-0 start in league play, a feat that has been accomplished 10 times in the program's 30 years of conference affiliation.
 - The Roos have been red-hot on the road, putting together a 5-1-1 record away from home and clinching a winning road record for the season. The last time the Roos won five road games was in 2007. The last time KC went for more than five road wins was in 2003, when the Roos went 6-2-2 on the road and set a program record for most away victories.
 - Elie Kisoka continued his special season, winning his second Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week award. The Frenchman ranks third in the nation in game-winning goals (3), 11th in total goals (7) and 10th in total points (18).
 - Offensively, the Roos have made their mark as one of the most dangerous teams in the nation. Kansas City has scored at least three goals in each of the past four games and ranks top-10 in Division One in goals (2.5) and assists (2.6) per game.
 - For the first time this year, Kansas City has pieced together back-to-back shutouts. Brandon McGaugh made five total saves in goal, while the defensive duo of Guille Munoz and Bryson Gosch combined to play 355-of-360 possible minutes.
 - KC is out-shooting its opponents 50-17 across the past two games.

Omaha Notes
- Omaha owns a 6-2-2 record, identical to Kansas City's record. Following a league-opening loss at Oral Roberts, the Mavs took down St. Thomas, 2-1, in their Summit home-opener.
 - Theo Klein is the lead man for the Mavericks, leading the team with four points, three assists and 11 total points.
 - Omaha leads the Summit and ranks 11th in the nation with a .520 shot accuracy.
 - These teams meet for the first time since last year's Summit League Championship, where Omaha took down KC in a 2-0 decision to clinch an NCAA Tournament appearance.
 - The Mavericks lead the all-time series, 5-3-4, including a 2-0-2 record in games played in Omaha.
