Kansas City Notes
- After dropping a contest to St. Thomas last week, Kansas City looks to bounce back against Omaha on Saturday. So far this season, the Roos are 1-0-1 in games directly following a loss.
- Elie Kisoka scored the Roos' lone goal in the game against the Tommies, his ninth of the year. He is tied for first in the Summit League and ninth in the NCAA in total goals scored, and has the most goals scored by a Kansas City player since Eric McWoods in 2017.
- The Roos still sit at the top of the league table with 10 points, but have played one more game than Denver, who sits in a tie for second with Oral Roberts.
- Kansas City closes out regular season play by staying at home for three of its final four games. To this point, only five of the Roos' 15 contests have been at Durwood.
- KC remains one of the most potent offenses in the nation, ranking top-20 in the nation in total assists, goals and points. KC has scored 30 goals on the year, a program-high since the 2009 season.
- Gabriel Fernandes earned his first start of the year in the game against St. Thomas, playing a season-high 82 minutes and attempting a pair of shots. Prior to Saturday, he had not played more than 40 minutes in a game.
- Kisoka and Le Bourdoulous each played 90 minutes against the Tommies, surpassing 1,000 on the year. The pair join Brevyn Cole, Fernando Somolinos Bravo, Bryson Gosch and Brandon McGaugh at the 1,000 minute mark.
Omaha Notes
- Omaha enters Saturday's match on a three game slide, dropping matches against Creighton, Denver and Oral Roberts.
- The team is led by Theo Klein, who has logged four goals and three assists on the year, including a pair of game-winners.
- Nathanael Sallah takes the goal for the Mavs, ranking third in the Summit with an average of 3.31 saves per game.
- Omaha holds an advantage in the all-time series, but the Roos are 3-2-2 against UNO at home.
- The two sides played to a 1-1 draw on Oct. 5 in Omaha. Jeremy Francou scored the equalizer in the 81st minute to salvage a point for KC.
