Five Things to Know
- Kansas City comes off of a split with Oral Roberts this past weekend––losing the first game 58-60 and winning the second 81-76––to take on North Dakota State on Friday and Saturday at the Swinney Center.
- Senior guard Brandon McKissic was named Summit League Player of the Week after averaging 22.0 points per game against the Golden Eagles. It is the first conference Player of the Week award of McKissic's career.
- McKissic also moved into the No. 11-spot in program history in career scoring, surpassing Xavier Bishop and Lavell Boyd. At 1,070 points, he is just one point away from moving into the top 10 and eight points from taking the ninth-spot.
- Arkel Lamar made an impact in his first two games in a Roo uniform last weekend. The UMBC grad transfer averaged 9.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in the two games, receiving substantial playing time in the absence of Marvin Nesbitt Jr.
