(Kansas City, Mo.) -- Sarah Todd scored the 'Roos first goal in the fifth minute of action to get the scoring started, as the Missouri-Kansas City women's soccer team (6-3-2, 2-0-0) trounced Texas-Pan American (7-2-4, 1-1-1) 6-0 on Sunday afternoon at Durwood Stadium.
Emily Herndon added the 'Roos second and fourth goals, while Kara Priest, Alyssa Elver and Nikki Lynch also scored in the contest.
Six goals in a game ties a school-record set last season vs. Grand Canyon. Five different players scored for the 'Roos in the match, establishing a new school record. UMKC has scored 10 goals over the course of its last two games and 12 goals in the team's last three games, both of which are high-water marks for the program, as well.
The Blue & Gold will be back in action again next Friday when they head to Las Cruces, N.M., to take on New Mexico State.
