2008 -- Started all 39 games for UMKC, one of just two players to accomplish the feat on the season... batting average of .283 was second-best on the team, with her 18 RBI good for second on the squad as well... collected four walks on the season and was also plunked a team-high five times... led the team with five multiple-RBI games and also recorded six multiple-hit games... was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate in UMKC's second game against South Dakota State in the Shocker Invitational (3/9)... just missed hitting for the cycle at Southern Utah (3/21), as she opened with a single, followed it up with a triple in the fifth and a double in the sixth, reaching safely in all four plate appearances... also saw time in the circle for an injury-depleted Kangaroo squad, lowering her career ERA by better than a run in her 17.1 innings of work.
2007 -- Saw time at pitcher as well as in the infield for UMKC on the year... finished the year with a .236 batting average, appearing in all 50 games for the Kangaroos... was one of six players to hit a home run (Feb. 23, 2007 vs. Arkansas) on the campaign, as the team set a new UMKC record with 20... pitched 32.2 innings for UMKC, with nine starts in 11 appearances... finished with an era of 10.71, striking out 12 on the year... named to the Mid-Continent Conference Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.
Junior College -- Played two years at Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa... was the Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore... was named to the Second Team all-Academic team for two years... played under head coach Jeff Kelley.
High School -- Two-time all-State and all-district selection... three-year all-conference selection... earned five softball letters in high school... also was a one-year all-conference selection in volleyball and a three-year all-conference selection in basketball... also was an honorable mention all-state selection on the hardwood... earned four letters in basketball and one in volleyball... high school softball coach was Mary Thompson.
Personal -- Born on January 19, 1986... daughter of Debbie Ryan and Randy Baker... majoring in psychology.
