2009-10 -- All-Summit League honoree... posted a 6-12 singles record and a 18-4 doubles mark both at the No. 1 positions... went 3-0 in singles and 6-0 in doubles in Summit League play... opened the year with a 3-0 singles record, picking up wins over Murray State, Southern Illinois and Creighton... named The Summit League Player of the Week on Feb. 16 following a pair of wins over the Bluejays... teamed with Patrick Smith in doubles to tally the most doubles victories (18) in a single season in UMKC history... the pair won seven of first 10 matches to start the season and won 11 straight doubles matches from March 26 through April 23... broke the school record for doubles wins in a single season with his 8-1 triumph over Centenary's Shoptaugh/Magill... named to The Summit League Winter/Spring Academic all-League team.
2008-09 -- Summit League Newcomer of the Year and First Team all-Summit League selection after posting an 8-11 record in singles and a 9-6 mark in doubles... is just the third UMKC player to earn Newcomer of the Year honors... played at the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles positions... teamed in doubles with Patrick Smith... went 4-1 in singles and 1-0 in doubles in Summit League play... tallied his first collegiate singles victory at UMKC with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 win over Gonzaga's Stefan Feddersen... named The Summit League Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week on March 4 after winning a pair of matches in the team victory over Creighton... was honored as the Athlete of the Week a second time on March 31 after going 3-0 in singles at the league cluster in Tulsa... won five straight doubles matches to start the season and four-of-five to end the year... helped UMKC claim the doubles point with his 8-4 win over Oral Roberts' Kotsuik/Suslov... the win helped propel the 'Roos to The Summit League title and to a berth in the NCAA Tournament.
At Ball State -- Competed for two seasons at Ball State University in the Mid-American Conference... played No. 4 and No. 5 in singles as a freshman, where he compiled a 10-13 overall record... finished with a perfect 5-0 record in conference play, which led to him being named the MAC Newcomer of the Year... competed at the No. 3 line as a sophomore, finishing with a 9-9 overall record... also was a part of the No. 2 doubles team that had a 8-5 record.
High School -- First team all-state selection as a senior... also was an all-area and all-metro honoree... played at the No. 1 singles position, where he posted a 24-1 overall record... had a 47-5 overall mark during his junior and senior seasons... finished third in the state individually as a senior... helped lead Blue Springs South to a conference championship in 2006... was the team newcomer of the year as a freshman... received the Presidential Award in the classroom... high school coach was Sheri Rehmer.
