NOTE -- Granted an extra season of eligibility, but will have to sit out games in 2015.
2014 -- Started all 20 games in the defensive midfield, playing the full contest 14 times... Played the most minutes of any field player at 1,784... He earned Academic All-WAC honors... Logged an assist against Missouri State (9/6), while taking 17 shots on the season... His season-high in shots was three, doing it twice... Voted the winner of the Kickin' Roo Award by his teammates.
2013 -- Recorded 19 caps, starting 16 times in the midfield, playing more of a defensive role... He was named to the All-Tournament team at the SMU Invitational, helping the 'Roos finish as champions while allowing only one goal in two matches against No. 13 Tulsa and SMU... That performance earned him WAC Defensive Player of the Week (9/16)... Was also named Academic All-WAC for his work in the classroom... Was honored with the Keith and Sammy Schreiman Endowment, as well as earning UMKC Scholar Athlete accolades.
2012 -- Played in all 19 games in the midfield, starting seven times... Scored his first career goal in a 3-0 win at Eastern Illinois (9/30)... Followed that with his second goal against Oral Roberts (10/6)... Also recorded his lone assist on the game-winning overtime goal against Omaha (10/20)... His two goals ranked third on the team, as did his five points... Had two shots on two different occasions... A member of the Academic Honor Roll and the Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence for his work in the classroom.
2011 -- Redshirt season.
High School -- Captained his high school house to the Inter-house title, scoring two goals in the championship game... received his Basic Education Examination (BECE) and WASCE Certificate in June of 2009.
Club Team -- Played for the Dallas Texans Soccer Academy-Ghana for a year, and graduated through their youth ranks to the Division 3 senior side.
Personal -- Son of Tonny Amponsa Yeboah and Agnes Adubea... Has three siblings, Bernice Akrona, Erica Glover, and Sylvia Yiadom... majoring in business/computer science.
