Before UMKC -- Posted 100-plus saves in both seasons at Northern Iowa Area CC, earning second-team all-region as a freshman and first-team all-region in 2014… He was the team captain as a sophomore as well… During his final year, he posted a 15-save shutout of defending national champion Iowa Western CC in a 0-0 tie… Played his high school ball for Noel Quinn at Simley, where he was the team MVP and an honorable mention all-state selection his senior year… He was all-conference as both a junior and senior as well, while posting 87 saves and a 1.21 goals against average as a junior… In Class A, he helped the team to section runner-up finishes in 2011 and 2013… He also played club ball for Dakota Rev and head coach Westley Dayus for four years… Also played lacrosse.
Personal -- Born October 7, 1994 in Saint Paul, Minn... Son of Jeff Bilek and Dotty Spores... Has three siblings, Brittany and Alisha Bilek, and Ashley Spores... Majoring in biology.
