Bio
Kim Hairston was appointed administrative assistant to the Intercollegiate Athletics Department in May 2001. She assists all coaches and staff members in their day-to-day operations and supervises the department's work study program.
Hairston previously worked at the UMKC School of Dentistry, where she served as an administrative assistant in the school's faculty practice department.
Originally from Kansas City, Kan., Hairston is a graduate of Sumner High School.
Hairston has three daughters: Shannon, Ashleigh and Tiffany.
