Why Kansas City?: "I wanted to be coached by a point guard and Coach Jackson provided the best scenario for me. I wanted to be a part of something new and the coaching staff made me feel like a valued player. They made me feel special, not only for my abilities on the court, but me as a person off the court too. It just felt like the right place to be from the moment I stepped on campus. I can see myself outside of basketball enjoying Kansas City and all the people I connected with."
Coach Jackson-Durrett: "We are beyond excited that Rain Green has set the tone for this new class and era at Kansas City. Rain's ability and speed will help us on both ends of the floor. Her skill set will excite our fans and they will enjoy getting to know her even more. She is a complete fit; high character, great work ethic and family oriented, that's exactly what our program is about!"
