Roos Draw Hawks in Home Opener
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Kansas City Women's Soccer draw against rivals Rockhurst in the home opener at Durwood Stadium
Kansas City started the game on the back foot as Rockhurst recorded three shots in the opening 15 minutes. The Roos recorded eight shots between the 28th and 34th minutes. KC outshot the Hawks 8-3 in the first half, which was scoreless at the break.Â
Ava Edwards recorded two shots in the first 12 minutes of the second half; Kansas City would take eight shots in the second half, four of which were saved by the Rockhurst goalie.Â
NOTES
Kansas City is back at home Sunday at 1 PM when they take on UC Riverside at Durwood Stadium.Â
