- Kansas City Men's Basketball closes out the regular season on Saturday evening, hosting Oral Roberts for a Senior Night game that will see the Roos send off Addarin Scott, Jerome Palm, Kasheem Grady II and Jayson Petty.
- Scott spent the first four years of his college career between Navarro Community College and Auburn University, transferring to Kansas City for his final season. He has appeared in 27 games this season, making four starts and scoring a career-high 12 points at St. Thomas on Feb. 1.
- Palm has been a catalyst for the Roos inside, starting in 25 of his 29 appearances. He has tallied four double-doubles on the season and ranks sixth in the Summit League, averaging over six rebounds per game.
- Grady has been in Kansas City for the past two seasons, bringing excitement to the court. He made has made 15 starts in 53 appearances on his career and is averaging over 10 points per game this year, ranking third on the team in three-pointers made and leading the team with nine dunks on the season.
- Petty has been a Roo for his entire collegiate career, beginning with 2023-24 Summit League Freshman of the Year honors. He has been an iron man, appearing in all 94 games of his career and making starts in all 29 games this season. He has gone for 11 points and four rebounds per game this year, reaching double-digit scoring in 18-of-29 games.
Oral Roberts Notes
- Oral Roberts enters Saturday's game with an 8-22 overall record and a 3-12 mark in Summit League play. The Golden Eagles have won two-straight games over South Dakota and Denver.
- Ty Harper leads the team with 17.2 points per game and went for 47 in the recent win over Denver.
- As a team, Oral Roberts leads the Summit and ranks 174th in the nation with an average of 3.4 blocks per game.
- This will be the 47th meeting between the two teams in program history, making ORU the Roos' third-most played opponent of all-time. The Golden Eagles lead the all-time series, 31-15.
- ORU took the first meeting this season, 69-60 in Tulsa. Karmello Branch led the Roos with 18 points in that game.
