Kansas City Notes
- Kansas City Women's Soccer is back on the road on Sunday evening, traveling to Columbia, Mo. for the first meeting with inter-state rival Missouri since 2013.
- The Roos enter Sunday's game off a 1-0 victory against Marquette on Thursday that saw Breckynn Pugh score her third goal of the season and her first-career game-winner in the first start of her collegiate career.
- Audrey Brown was called into action for just one save on 10 shots faced against the Golden Eagles, tallying her fourth win and second clean sheet of the season. Combined with her time at Cal Poly Pomona, she now has nine career shutouts.
- After struggling with injuries early in her career, Olivia Platt has become a reliable force in the Kansas City front line this season. She has started all seven games and played 473 minutes, just 47 minutes away from the most in a single season of her four-year career. She tallied her third assist of the season on Pugh's game-winner on Thursday to tie the team lead.
- Kansas City's current run of six-straight games with a goal scored marks the most consecutive games with a goal since 2022. The Roos have not scored in seven-straight games since the 2019 season.
Missouri Notes
- Missouri enters Sunday's game at 2-3-1, coming off a 2-0 loss to Illinois on Thursday.
- The Roos and Tigers have played two common opponents so far this year with similar results. Both teams fell to Saint Louis and both teams defeated Missouri State.
- Hailey Chambliss and Ava Vetter are the lone Tigers with multiple goals on the year, having scored two each.
- Missouri has won both all-time meetings between these two squads, once in Columbia and once in KC.
- The last meeting occurred in 2013, a 3-0 victory in favor of the Tigers.
