The Roos' games at Creighton have been postponed or canceled due to snow

KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Softball and Women's Tennis, both due to play at Creighton this afternoon, have been canceled or postponed due to a blizzard warning that has overtaken Omaha. The Roos' tennis match against the Bluejays has been canceled and will not be rescheduled, while the softball doubleheader will now be played on April 29. The UMKC Kangaroos opened their home schedule with a doubleheader against the Creighton Bluejays, marking the first home games of the season. Creighton took the first matchup with a final score of 6-2, putting the Roos on the board with an early loss before the teams returned to the field for game two. UMKC fought to keep momentum going into the second game as they looked to bounce back in front of the home crowd. The Roos ultimately fell in the nightcap as well, with the final score of game two ending at 9-0.
