For the second game in a row, the Roos fell in a one-possession decision
KANSAS CITY - Kansas City Men's Basketball (10-12, 2-5Â Summit) fought tooth-and-nail, but fell just short for the second-straight game against St. Thomas (16-6, 6-1 Summit) this evening, 68-65. The Roos fell behind by as many as 11 points in the first half, battling back to take a late lead and earn a chance for the victory. The Tommies knocked down a pair of big threes, snatching the win away from KC.
Babacar Diallo was the Roos' leading scorer, going for 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting, going 4-off-5 from downtown. He added three rebounds and a team-high three assists in 30 minutes of play. Cameron Faas was the only other Roo to reach double-digits, going for 14 points and knocking down three three-pointers.
