Bailey Leads Track & Field’s Efforts at Washburn Open
TOPEKA, Kan. - Track and Field travelled a small group to the Washburn Open. Taylor Bailey made waves in the Summit League standings in the tenth spot after claiming second place with a solid 1.63m height. Jaleesa McWashington clinched a solid third spot, pulling off her best jump of the season at 5.74m. Right beside her, teammate McKenzie Pearson claimed the fifth place with a jump of 5.72m—just a hair away from her personal best at 5.75m. McWashington and Pearson are holding steady in the league standings for women's long jump, locking in at sixth and sixth, respectively. With the Summit League Indoor Championships in sight, the Roos are sharpening their skills
