Logan Pratt Breaks His Own School Record Set A Month Ago
MANHATTAN, KS. - The Roos closed out the regular season at the Steve Miller Invitational with multiple personal bests.Sophomore Logan Pratt shaped out nicely against the competition, securing fifth place in the men's 200 meters with a time of 21.63, setting a new personal record and surpassing his own school record of 21.70 set a month earlier. Pratt heads into the Summit League Indoor Championships as the third fastest in the discipline across the League.
Hunter Ross leaped into a second-place finish and set a new personal record of 13.36 meters in the men's triple jump. Ross is currently ranked fourteenth across the Summit League. Jaleesa McWashington clocked an 8.85 in the 60m hurdles as she secured third place against a tough field. Teresa Thomas persevered through a challenging field, finishing fourth in the 400m and crossing the finish line in 56.73.The Roos ended the day on a high note, finishing second in the men's 4x400 meter relay, positioning them perfectly for a potential Summit League medal with a run of 3:14.13 and securing a second-place ranking in the Summit.
