After 24 years, Logan Pratt replaces Chris Weimer in the record book as the 200m record falls
FAYATTEVILLE, Ark. - At the Arkansas Invitational, Kansas City Track & Field kicked off the new year in style. Senior Abdelrahim Mahgoub embarked on a mission, successfully breaking the 600-meter school record of 1:20.53 previously held by Jackson Barbour since the 2016 season, posting a time of 1:19.23. In the realm of men's short sprints, Logan Pratt took charge, clinching a school record in the 200m. Pratt surpassed Chris Weimer's 24-year-old record with a noteworthy time of 21.70, triumphing over the previous 21.76 record set in 2000.
