Lanham Named Summit Men's Track Peak Performer of the Week

The junior sprinter took the 100m tape in 10.25 seconds, the top time in the conference
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Summit League announced Tory Lanham as the men's track recipient of their weekly 'Peak Performer of the Week' designation on Tuesday afternoon. A 2025 NCAA All-American last outdoor season, Lanham has started his third outdoor campaign with a bang by darting the 100-meter dash straightaway in 10.25 seconds.
The spectacular time came at the CMU Invite where Lanham took first place in the 100m semifinal round and finished with the fastest time of any runner in the event. Furthermore, Lanham sits atop the conference rankings for the 100m with his fellow teammates Stephen Clunis and Amari Eugene nipping at his heels to round out the top three in the Summit 100m.Â
From a historical perspective, the junior sprinter out of Oak Park HS put together the fastest 100m time in the Summit League since 2021 when Coby Hilton of SDSU ran a time of 10.23 seconds. Additionally, Lanham's 10.25 second time is tied for the 15th fastest in the NCAA Division I West and tied for 36th across the country. Lanham's prior career-best in the 100m came in 2024 when he ran a 10.42 second time at the Rock Chalk Invite.Â
